No feed available ...

Oops ... it seems that I just realized: you cannot create a feed of a private / semi-private blog! ... well, in that case, I suppose I could figure out a way to make these posts automatically email-able to whomever subscribes ... yes, google groups should be able to do that for me.

In the meantime, please answer the poll in the sidebar: do you want emails of each post as I post them or would you rather just check back to this blog from time to time?

In the meantime, you can use a tool called Page2RSS to turn this blog into a crude RSS feed ... and no, I cannot provide a generic RSS through Page2RSS since the authentication code for this blog changes every so often ... this is a "private" blog, remember? ^_^

Update: I have removed the "Subscribe to Posts: RSS (Atom)" link at the bottom of the page so people won't get confused and accidentally click on it to try to subscribe to this blog ... ^_^

Disclaimers and Other Whatnot

This blog is "semi-private", meaning I have currently set the settings to be "viewable only to people who I invite" ... in otherwords, I will probably be putting personal stuff on here (nothing identification wise, that'd be stupid, but still personal) ... so if you want to share this with anyone, just pop me an email and I'd be happy to add them to the list of "invited people" ... no sweat! ^_^

But, in the mean time, please be aware that if you do not want to hear about how "boo hoo, I don't like how the Eagle, Globe and Anchor doesn't show Alaska ... :'(", then please ignore those posts ... I'm well aware that this site is not really secure (people could hack it if they really wanted to), but it's still obscure enough for me to feel comfortable talking about whatever comes to my mind ... so ... yeah ... um ... what was I going to say again? Ah well.

First Post!

Yay! I have finally started my blog about Marines stuff, be it exercise, activities, applications, stories, complaints, questions, whatever. I have wanted to do this ever since I got into the DEP program, but for one reason or another I have always put it off. Well, no longer! I will use this blog to record whatever I feel like recording, so the best way to keep track would be to subscribe to the feed ... that way, you can check the feed items at your leasure ^_^

Today's exericse:

  • 2 bus-stops walk in the morning
  • 2 min jog / 3 min walk from neighboring neighborhood to home (tiny steps, practically mincing)
  • 1 min (31) crunches
  • 1 x 10 of curling, to the side, and to the front arm exercise
See? Isn't this much easier than trying to cram everything into those little grids in the training bible? Oh yeah, I'm going to rate each day in the labels, then eventually I'll be able to see a "trend" with my posts / exercises for the day ... isn't that such a neat idea? Labels will range from sleeping, lazy, ho-hum, energized, to suger-high ... not to mention I can make them up as I go along ... now if only I can keep up the posts ... ^_^

Please add comments if you want to respond, or just fire me an email! :)
